Marchena is a city in the province of Sevilla which stands in a valley between to mountains. Given its location, it counts with a large archeologic patrimony which you can see at the deposit of Montemolín and with many cultural and historic monuments. The many monuments of this city make it definitely worth visiting.

In Marchena it is mandatory to walk around the medieval neighborhood of San Juan with the doors of Sevilla and Morón, visit the many churches and palaces throughout the historic part and admire the beautiful sevillian-style houses with their colorful patios and charming essence.

The easiest way to get from the Parador de Carmona to Marchena is by taking a short 30 minutes' drive through the A-380.

Morón de La Frontera

There are so many things to see in this little but charming city in the south of the province of Sevilla that you won´t know where to start.

Definitely the first stop has to be the Castle of Morón de la Frontera, which you have to admire both from far and from the inside. The castle is on the top of a mountain in the middle of the city and you can reach it either by car or by walking. As a cultural interest monument, this arab castle is surrounded by woods and the city, reason for which is the best place to enjoy the views.

After, continue with the town hall, the house of culture, the market of Abastos, the municipal library Cristóbal Bermúdez Plata, built in an old palace from the XIX century, and of course the monument of El Gallo Morón, protagonist of the history of Morón de la Frontera and place from which you will get great views of the castle and the city.

Also, the many religious architectonic monuments highlight the essence of Morón de la Frontera. The church of San Ignacio de Loyola, church of San Miguel, church of San Francisco de Asís and the church of María Auxiliadora are some of the religious spots you can visit in this city.

The best thing is that Morón de la Frontera is only 45km away from the stunning Parador de Carmona and to get there it´s as easy as taking a 50 minutes' drive through the SE-4108 and A-8125 towards Paseo la Alameda.
