Faro Cabo Prior
Cabo Prior, a natural landscape of 1,75km wide that juts into the sea and home of the big Faro Cabo Prior. This lighthouse, located in Ferrol in Galicia, has a maximum height of 171 meters above the sea level and it´s active since 1853. It´s part of the route of the English Way of Saint James and offers some stunning views of the surrounding landscapes and the Cantabric sea.
The Faro Cabo Prior is located only 15km away from the enchanting Parador de Ferrol, a stately home with nautical air. From the hotel, a typical Galician mansion with white glass-enclosed balconies you will have the chance to enjoy amazing views of the maritime atmosphere of the city and the sea, just as stunning as the ones you will get from the lighthouse.

Faro Cabo de Torres
The lighthouse of Cabo de Torres played an important role as signaling point of navigation in the Asturian central coast. Located in Gijón, Asturias, this lighthouse built at the beginnings of the XX century started to function in 1924 and until the 80´s, when it was automated. Today, this tall lighthouse is part of the Natural-Archeologic Park of Campa Torres and has 2 main functions: on the ground floor it hosts a museum with a permanent exposition of the evolution of the bay of Gijón, and upstairs, it has an administrative part with offices and a library.
The Parador de Gijón, which occupies an old mill in Isabel la Católica Park, is a great spot to stay if you are going to visit the lighthouse Cabo de Torres. And not only because of its location 15km away from the lighthouse, but also because it's extremely close to beaches, gorgeous green spaces and the cultural and historic marks of Gijón.
The easiest way to get from the Parador de Gijón to Faro Cabo de Torres is by taking a short 25-minutes' drive through the A-8 road.

Faro del Caballo
A lighthouse surrounded by cliffs and crystalline waters, that´s the Faro del Caballo. This lighthouse is located in the mount Buciero in Santoña, a little but charming village in the coast of Cantabria. It was inaugurated in 1863 and the route to get to it, tiring but worthy, starts in the promenade of Santoña and includes 700 stairs. Forts, batteries and the Faro del Pescador are just some of the things you will admire in this hiking route.
If you are not so much into the hiking habit, another option to explore this area is by taking a boat trip from Santoña that goes all around the area of the cliffs.
Lucky for you, the palace that houses the Parador de Limpias is just 15km away from the village of Santoña, place where the lighthouse is located. It is as easy as taking a 20-min drive by the CA-241 to get from the Parador to the lighthouse. And of course, when you come back enjoy some clams, lobster and shrimps at the Parador, because you deserve it.

Faro de Higuer
Only 4 km away from our elegant Parador de Hondarribia, you will find the Faro de Higuer, a lighthouse that stands on Cabo Higuer in the Basque country, at 65 meters above the sea level. Surrounded by bars, restaurants and also a camping, this lighthouse is less rural and more urban, but still, located in the middle of a beautiful landscape and with beautiful facades, is definitely a great place to visit. We recommend that you go at the time of the sunset so you can admire the spectacular setting accompanied by cliffs and the sound of the sea. On summer, the sun sets around 9:00pm.
By taking the Higer Bieda Road, it will only take you 10 minutes by car to get from the Parador de Hondarribia to the Faro de Higuer. Enjoy the ride!
