Great castle in a quiet Extremadura village
Very good Parador. Restaurant much better than last year.
No wonder Telegraph travel writers recently voted this no.8 out of the top 50 hotels in the world.(The Dorchester in London was no. 42!)
Palatial and spectacular
Dinner under the stars in the courtyard and swimming in a moat pool - with a tide!! Most beautiful room; got lost in the bed.
What a fantastic experience and the Gentleman at reception was so helpful with regard to the Cycles we were carrying on the back of our car!!
We chose Zafra for its location in the Jamon area of Extremadura and we were delighted with the hotel and the town of Zafra. The Parador is a magnificent building, the rooms are extremely comfortable and is wonderfully maintained.
Charming and oldy worldy
We had a very good stay in this beautiful parador.
Tranquil. Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. The restaurant - set in the central courtyard - had a wonderful character, which somehow created an uplifting atmosphere.
