The fortifications are also important. Tortosa preserves its walls, forts such as Tenasses and Orleans, and Zuda Castle, an Asset of National Interest and the current location of the Parador de Tortosa.  If your visit coincides with the Renaissance Festival, in the second half of July, you´ll experience one of the most important annual events in the town.
