Below are some of our customers' most frequently asked questions about Paradores gift-boxes... If you still need further information, please do not hesitate to ask.

 

I purchased a gift-box and would like to exchange it for a different one. Is that possible?
No. The gift-boxes may only be exchanged for the new edition of the same offer, subject to special terms and conditions. To exchange your gift-box, you must contact tarjetas@parador.es  and, if applicable, pay the difference in price and any additional shipping and handling charges.

 

I have received a gift-box as a gift. How long do I have to use it?
The expiration date is shown on the gift-box card.

 

I have read that my gift-box may be subject to a surcharge at some Paradores. What does that mean?
Some Paradores may apply a surcharge for stays at certain times of the year.  (View the surcharges which apply at some Paradores). The Discover Spain Step by Step and Irresistible Nights gift-boxes are not subject to any surcharges. The Five Nights at Any Parador gift-box is subject to the same surcharges as the 5-night Card promotion.

I have made a reservation for a gift-box at a Parador, but something has come up and I will not be able to go. Can I cancel the reservation and keep my gift-box for later use?
Yes, provided that you observe the Parador's cancellation policy. If you fail to keep your reservation at the designated place and time, you will lose your gift-box.

 

I have tried to make a reservation for my gift-box, but have been told that I cannot book for the dates I want. Why is this?
During periods of high demand, room availability for these gift-boxes is limited or zero.

 

I have lost my gift-box (card, box, etc.). Is there a way to obtain a duplicate?
Paradores accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen gift-box cards.

 

I have received a gift-box as a gift but do not want to use it. Can I return it for cash?
No. Paradores gift-boxes may not be redeemed for cash.

 

Do I have to bring the gift-box card when I visit the Parador?
Yes. In order to use your gift-box, you must present the original Break card included in the gift pack at the Parador.

 

Are advance reservations required?
Yes. In order to use any gift-box, it is necessary to make an advance reservation via our Reservations Center at 902 547 979 or by calling the Parador of your choice directly. When making your reservation, you must indicate that you wish to use a Break and provide the name and number of the gift-box card. We recommend that you book your gift-box early in order to be able use the card on the date of your choice. Please note the expiration date shown on the gift-box card.

 

Can I change or cancel the date of my reservation?
Yes, provided that you observe the Parador's cancellation policy.  We recommend that you obtain this information when you book your gift-box. If you fail to keep your reservation at the designated place and time, you will lose your gift-box.

 

Are there any restrictions in terms of reservation dates?
During periods of high demand, room availability for gift-box is limited. When making a reservation, please be sure that the date of your reservation is prior to the expiration date. The closer it is to the expiration date, the more limited availability will be. We therefore recommend booking early.

 

Where can I purchase a gift-box?
All gift-boxes may be ordered by calling 902 547 979 or writing to tarjetas@parador.es. Some gift-boxes are available for sale at the Paradores themselves. Details of points of sale are available in the information for each gift-box.

 

How do I make my reservation?
By calling the Parador of your choice directly or 902 547 979. When making your reservation, you must indicate the number and name of the gift-box card. This card must then be presented upon arrival at the Parador.

 

How far in advance do I need to book my gift-box?
We recommend making your reservations as early as possible.  Bear in mind that availability is limited for Breaks and that demand may be high during certain periods. Always remember to check the expiration date shown on the gift-box card. You will not be able to use your gift-box after this date.

 

Can I reserve an extra bed or crib in the room for my child?
In order to reserve an extra bed or crib, you must indicate this when making your reservation by calling 902 547 979 or the Parador of your choice. They will provide you with information about the cost and method of payment.

 

My gift-box has expired. What can I do?
Unfortunately, the expiration date for Paradores gift-boxes cannot be extended. If you still wish to use your Break, you may exchange it for the new edition of the same gift-box within no more than one month of the expiration date, subject to special terms and conditions. To exchange your gift-box, you must contact tarjetas@parador.es and, if applicable, pay the difference in price and any additional shipping and handling charges.

Iberian Peninsula: €5; Balearic Islands: €8; Canary Islands: €10.50; Ceuta and/or Melilla: €18

Deliveries will be made between 8.30 am and 7 pm from Monday to Fridays (bank holidays not included).
