Come and discover Extremadura's cuisine, with traditional dishes prepared using ingredients from the countryside, including wild asparagus, cardoons, truffles and mushrooms. There are also pork products such as sausages and hams. Our specialties include zorongollo extremeño (potato and roasted red pepper salad) with free-range eggs, stewed strips of lean Ibérico pork, and Corderex designation of origin lamb stew.
For dessert, we offer surprises such as delicious convent sweets, almond puff pastry and técula-mécula (egg and almond cake). Of our wines, we recommend trying the Ribera del Guadiana designation of origin for whites, reds and rosés.
