80th anniversary menu

Paradores Celebrates 80 Years of Gastronomy

Paradores celebrates its 80th anniversary. And to celebrate with you we wish to emphasise our gastronomy as a symbol and instrument to honour these years in operation. As such, we have prepared a very special gastronomic offer, the 80th Anniversary Menu.

The menu has been composed around small preparations, HORS D'OEUVRES, based on traditional Spanish cuisine, which are prepared using local seasonal products to produce a varied and healthy menu. You will have the opportunity to taste hot and cold hors d’oeuvres along with a main hors d’oeuvre of your choice from those offered by each one of the eight Paradores each month. The price of the menu is indicated by the main hors d’oeuvre for each Parador.

You can sample this menu at any Parador you visit from the 8th of November, 2008, and in addition all guests who request this menu will receive a very special gift: an issue from the “Paradores, 80 Years of Gastronomy” collector’s item. This collector’s item is composed of 12 issues which comprise a small encyclopaedia of Paradores and regional Spanish gastronomy. Obtain the twelve issues which comprise a unique collection month by month and then request your binder.

“80th Anniversary” Menu

This menu is composed of four cold hors d’oeuvres, four hot ones and a dessert.

Hors D’Oeuvres

Hot:

  • Breaded Cod Strips
  • Broth with small meatballs
  • Pig’s Trotter Stuffed with Mushrooms
  • And The Parador Hors D'euvres of your choice *

Cold:

  • Cod and endive salad
  • Marinated Pork Loin Fried in Oil
  • Country Spreaded Bread with Tomatoe and Curd spain's Ham
  • Marinated Partridge with Watrcress
