Paradores

Paradores de Turismo is a publicly funded limited company with eight decades of history and which currently manages more than 90 hotel establishments thanks to the work performed on a daily basis by its thousands of employees. Many Paradores are located in nature reserves and in historic buildings, such as castles, palaces, convents and monasteries.

Paradores, today

The thirty beds with which Paradores began with the inauguration of the network’s first establishment have turned into more than 10,000.

Paradores' Mission

Paradores is a tourism policy instrument which projects an image of the modernity and quality of our tourism abroad.

Eight decades of history

It was the year 1910 when the government entrusted Marqués de la Vega Inclán with the project of creating a hotel network to house tourists.

Organisational chart

Under the chairmanship of Paradores there are five general management structures: Chairmanship, General Secretary, Economic-Financial and Human Resources, Operations and Marketing.
