Just 10 kilometres from the capital and close to other tourist destinations like Marbella and Torremolinos, the Parador is formed by three blocks of bungalows, where comfort is guaranteed. 18 holes, surrounded by sand dunes, palm trees, mimosas, eucalyptus and pine trees bordering the course, created in the early 1920s by the British Princess Beatrice of Battenberg. Since then, amateurs and professionals come to this exclusive setting to make golf-playing almost a dream.
This renowned course, featuring the quality standards required by the highest level of professional golf, has been selected on several occasions by the PGA to host European tour championships, such as the Tour España Master Open de Andalucía - (1992 and 1999) and the Open de Andalucía (2010 and 2011). A demanding course for veterans, but at the same time attainable for amateurs. Two of its 18 holes directly overlook the sea and the salty breeze accompanies you on the rest of the course. The terrain is open and flat, with wide fairways, dotted here and there with sand bunkers and water obstacles.

The Parador is a modern building, with designer decoration, spacious and comfortable rooms, a relaxing spa, luxurious outdoor terraces with views over the golf course and the Mediterranean, outdoor pool and grass football pitch. All in the dune environment surrounding El Saler fairways and Greens, where one of the most prestigious European and international courses is located.
Golf Magazine has included it in the Top 100 of its ranking of the best courses in the world on several occasions and organizations such as the PGA Europe or U.S. PGA have found El Saler the ideal place to host their championships.
The 18-hole course with more than 6,000 metres, is the work of the great Spanish architect and designer, Javier Arana, who at the end of the 1960s would see one of his most ambitious projects completed on the shores of the Mediterranean. Despite the width of its fairways, El Saler is characterized by its nearly 100 bunkers all over the course; large and complicated Greens and the high difficulty of the course, which make it a real challenge to reach par 72 of this course.
