Loved it -
one of my favorite Paradores. Recently for the fourth time. So beautifull situated in the middle of the Gredos... Maginificent views and a great (sober) ambiance in this Parador. The camarero Jaime is realy fantastic in his service. Great red house wine (dolfo). Only they kitchen/cooking could be a little bit more sofisticed next time.
What a great Parador; one of the oldest. The interior is sober but perfectly fitted in the great en quiet environment. Great views!
Absolutely superb. Will definitely visit again but next time go on a diet first!! Food was excellent. We also brought our dogs who were made to feel very welcome. Brilliant
The moment I arrived at this Parador I filled in the form to become a member of the 'Amigos de Paradores' club. The man at the reception desk said I would be able to get points from my stay there and that I would receive the membership card by email. Two weeks later I was still waiting and I finally had to join the Amigos club online instead.
Beautiful location, facilities a bit run down
Very enjoyable stay, fabulous location , super roads to, from and onwards! Staff friendly and helpful , especially if you try out your Spanish! Good evening meal and breakfast. Parador could do with some tlc though ! If staying in the summer request a low room, floor 1 or 2 as there isnt any air conditioning!
We had problems checking in because of errors with the numbers of the rooms. A key got lost and though we had nothing to do with it we were held more or less responsible; there never came excuses.
