Det er vores 3. besøg. I 2016 deltog vi i en interessant udendørs rundvisning blandt stedets arkæologiske udgravninger. Guiden om det helt forfærdelige jordskælv med 9 døde og godt 300 sårede, der ramte Lorca så sent som i 2011. Det gik også hårdt ud over paradoren, som senere er blevet restaureret og facaden forsynet med oxyderede jernbånd, der fungerer som jordskælvssikring!

This Parador is totally different to our normal stay. Lorca offers the quality and style of any modern 4 star hotel with all the enjoyment and service you expected from a Parador. Built to blend into its surrounding and only visible from certain areas of the town below you would not know it existed. The views from this Parador of the surrounding area are outstanding.

Brilliant location, staff, food, the lot. The service didn't end when we checked out. A manager spotted our car had a flat tyre, a member of staff came out to pump it up and - when that didn't entirely work - he rang ahead to a local garage to expect us. We followed his directions and had a repair for €15 which got us home. Brilliant!
