A modern build, good car park. Stunning views of the cathedral and old town across the river. Large standard room, no balcony but great view. Nice restaurant and bar with terrace. Large swimming pool. About a 1 mile walk across the medieval bridge into the lovely old town centre. Handy for the motorway and a good overnight stop.

Booked suite - lovely - but wish we had been warned that we had to walk up to flights of carpeted, steep stairs with all our luggage. Great view from room, but rock hard pillows causing headaches and stiff necks. Efficient but very noisy a/c. Restaurant great.

Worth the upcharge to get a room with a view, nothing spectacular about this hotel except for the view, which is magnificent!

Stayed here for two nights,on arrival we were greeted by the reception and helped to our room which had wonderful views of the city with our bags
We had evening meal at the restaurant and the food was very nice, service was also excellent.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful with eggs cooked to order
The hotel is modern style but non of the rooms offered a balcony, beds were comfortable

The room with a view over Salamanca was glorious,
the food was excellent. Easy to get to and ample parking
in the extensive gardens.

Smaller than usual range of toiletries in bathroom, shower and base need a steam clean, no water left in room, no robes and only a 5" bed - in a junior suite! Not up to standard expected.

Troublesome check-in. We didn't feel welcome at all and have never had this feeling at another parador.
No public transport to the city nor any taxis so we had to walk through the 'garden' which was more a kind of desert.
The food at the restaurant and the cafeteria was disappointing to say the least.
