We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this historical building with modern rooms and restaurant.
The girl that managed the breakfast service singelhandedly ensured that everything was replenished and tables set with fresh linens, all with a smile on her face, it made a pleasant start to the day.
The grounds are enormous, nice to wander, the pool was clean and well maintained.
We thoroughly recommend!

After visiting 93 paradores, this one was the best. We never finded a museum, a very nice french garden, a good restaurant and a very good crew in one hotel! Amasing.

First Parador in Portugal. Impressing building in large land.
The stuffs are all friendly.
Food was good but just a little bit more something to be excellent.

A Parador in Portugal - wonderful. This historic manor house has a vineyard and they make own wines and cheese which are all super. I particularly loved their white wine. We booked a private wine tasting with some tapas - delicious and special. Good restaurant and dinner. Very comfortable and relaxing. Lovely gardens and welcome pool.

Very good reception and lovely gardens. Rooms quite small in comparison with others we've stayed in but like the area so will probably return

Fabulous place to explore, step back in time it's like a lost world, must be seen to be believed.

As we have been all 88 paradors in the Iberian Peninsula (included Puerto Lumbreras) we also wanted to visit the new parador in Portugal. This is a very beautiful parador in beautiful surroundings. The rooms were nice and spacious. The staff friendly and helpful. The menu of the restaurant could have been better - especially the choice of main courses. Our bathroom was crawling with ants and this is a problem that they have to do something about.

Fascinating Hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only problem was breakfast where the waitress went missing
