North of Lleida, before reaching Andorra, is the Parador de La Seu d'Urgell. An elegant building with a striking eighteenth-century cloister in a classicist style, it combines perfectly with the hotel’s modernist decor Here you can enjoy the heated pool, bar, restaurant, gym, sauna and solarium.
The Parador is located next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria, the only Romanesque cathedral that remains in Catalonia.
It is also close to the church of San Miguel and its cloister, which is attached to the Cathedral.
La Seu d’Urgell, the capital of the Alt Urgell region, is a strategic enclave from which you can discover the Catalan Pyrenees.

A visit to Seu d’Urgell should start with the old town, where you’ll find the most iconic monument in the city: the Cathedral of Santa Maria, the only Romanesque cathedral that remains in Catalonia. In the Calle de los Canónigos and the Calle Mayor you’ll find some of the most-photographed spots in La Seu.
