Mazagón is located 22 km from Huelva, surrounded by the glorious, incomparable beauty of Doñana National Park. Doñana is a maze of land and water, where incredible dunes, beaches and cliffs share space with marshes and lagoons. There is also an extensive network of protected trails for hiking and cycling tourism. The first weekend in May brings the Pilgrimage of Nuestra Señora del Carmen (Our Lady of Mount Carmel). Nuestra Señora del Carmen is also honored on July 16 with a land and sea procession. Mazagón’s annual fair takes place in the month of August.
