The Parador de Ronda stands in a privileged location next to the emblematic Puente Nuevo and in the old Casa Consistorial. An exceptional balcony that looks out over the unique landscape of the Tajo, a spectacular gorge of 120 metres in depth.
The welcoming, light-filled interior is marked by vibrant and cheerful colours in the decoration, while the Parador itself offers an exclusive view that you can enjoy from the terrace or while you take a dip in the swimming pool. The Parador also has a beautiful duplex and elegant salons for all your celebrations and events.
The Parador was established in 1994 in the old buildings of the town hall and food market of the city. The original façade of the Casa Consistorial, with its arcades, cornices and traditional clock are still maintained.
The Parador is also home to a major collection of art about bullfighting, with over a hundred works in different formats and styles. A modern vision of this tradition is offered, from Romanticism and Goyaesque culture, to expressionism, pop culture and geometric abstraction.

The spectacular setting of Ronda invites the visitor to take it easy and wander around the city to enjoy its Moorish heritage on the south bank of the Guadalevín, then cross the emblematic Puente Nuevo and walk along the leafy avenues of the Alameda del Tajo until you come to the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería. One the way, you’ll be amazed by beautiful buildings such as the palaces of Mondragón and Salvatierra. And it you visit us in September, you’ll have the opportunity to attend the fiestas of Pedro Romero, when Ronda dresses up and celebrates the traditional fair and Goyaesque bullifghts.
The beauty of Ronda extends much further out into its surroundings. Just a short distance away you can explore the Roman heritage of the region at ancient Acinipo or follow the Route of the White Villages of Cadiz and discover some of the most beautiful places in the region. If you’re a nature lover, you can also set off for the natural parks of the Sierra de las Nieves, the Sierra de Grazalema and Los Alcornocales, and fans of motorcycling shouldn’t miss the chance to ride on the famous circuit of Ascari.
In Ronda and its surroundings there are countless places to visit and many activities to enjoy, from discovering the Pueblos Blancos, to visiting the ruins of Acinipo, entering the La Pileta Cave or driving on the Ascari Circuit, and ending with a visit to one of the more than 20 wineries that have the D.O. Sierras de Málaga/Serranía de Ronda, or visiting any of the three Natural Parks that surround the city.
You can also visit Reservatauro, a theme park about the Mediterranean meadow, the fighting bull and the purebred Spanish horse, or the Molino El Vínculo olive mill to learn about the olive oil extraction process.
