The municipality is located some 30 kilometers from the provincial capital of Valladolid, at a strategic crossing over the Douro River.

Tordesillas was the location of the royal court and a prison for Queen Joanna of Castile, daughter of the Catholic Monarchs. She died while imprisoned in the town for state reasons. The city ofTordesillas boasts a wealth of cultural heritage, preserving the ancient customs that made it a town of kings.

Entrepinos Golf Course is 20 km from the Parador de Tordesillas. The 18-hole course is laid out lengthwise. It is par 69, made up of three par 5 holes, nine par 4 and six par 3. On the over 5,000-meter course, players must position each stroke carefully to avoid going out of bounds and the river. Precision is the most important element of the game. It offers special rates for registered guests at the Parador, with a 40% discount on the green fee for 18 holes.
