(PARADORES), in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, or General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the national regulations applicable, and the Ley de Servicios de la Sociedad de la Información y de Comercio Electrónico 34/02, of July 11th, (LSSICE), is committed to rigorously complying with the existing legislation regarding the treatment of personal data and the security of information, with the aim of ensuring that all data provided by our customers are gathered and processed under security levels that avoid the loss or manipulation of such data.

 

  • Personal data protection

    The personal data taken from the forms included in http://www.paradores.es/ will be included in a data base, which is exclusive property of PARADORES. These data will be used, once the customer has expressly given his authorization by accepting the General Terms and Conditions included in the form, to communicate via e-mail promotional activities and information on services and products that could be of interest for the customer, and eventually for online bookings.

    These data can be used for commercial proposals by third parties, complementing the services of the Company, always with the prior authorization by the customer, and with the objective of making him aware of tailor-made offers he may profit from due to the fact that he is customer of PARADORES, oriented to the optimization and better use of the services booked with PARADORES.

All customers of PARADORES are hereby informed that the consent to submission of the abovementioned commercial offers may be revoked at any time, and for this purpose only a letter or message via email will be sufficient, stating the reason, with the interested parties’ handwritten signature and a copy of his/her national identity card or equivalent document, to the addresses stated below, for exercising their rights of access, to rectification, to erasure, to object, to data portability and to be forgotten, rights he/she is entitled to exercise in his/her quality as holder of the data.

  • Security of the information

    At Paradores de Turismo de España, S.A, we are well aware of the importance of guaranteeing the security of the information transit with our customers. To guarantee the security, we have implemented the highest possible safety measures thus guaranteeing the confidentiality of communications.

    The connection with the online transactional booking service is made via a safe server. The safe SSL server (Secure Socket Layer) establishes a connection during which the information is transmitted coded by 128 bits algorithms, which guarantee that the information can only be read by the PC of the customer and the server of Paradores, therefore complying with the pseudonymisation terms laid down by the GDPR.

    Any customer wanting to verify that the connection is made through a safe server can use any of the following options for the verification:

    With the URL address of the server, because the address of a safe server always begin with https: , while ordinary servers address begin with http.

    Thanks to a message from his browser. In one of the corners of the bottom of the screen, a complete key will appear (if the server is not safe, the key shown will be divided into two parts) or with a closed padlock (as opposed to an open padlock shown in any non safe server).
