  • Roman Walls of Lugo. More than 2 kilometres long, they have been named a World Heritage Site and they are considered the most symbolic monument of the whole city. As its name says, it is a Roman construction perfectly preserved and still protecting the historic centre of the city of Lugo. You can entre the city from the four different accesses it has: the Puerta de Santiago, the Puerta de San Pedro, the Puerta de San Fernando or the Puerta del Obispo.

 

  • Santa María Cathedral. It is the name of Lugo's Cathedral. It was built back in the XII and XIII centuries and it keeps a Romanesque style. The outside part of the building is really impressive, but it is even more impressive the inside, where you can find beautiful Renaissance paintings.

 

  • San Pedro de Lugo Church. Located in the historic centre of Lugo, this Gothic building was built back in the XV century. It belongs to the architectonic heritage of the city of Lugo and it has been declared a National Monument. You cannot miss it.

 

  • Plaza Mayor. Lugo's Main Square is a spacious place where people go to meet and tourist visit it because of its beautiful architecture and the buildings that surround it. It is a must on your visit to the city of Lugo, no doubt!

 

  • Puente Romano de Lugo. This is one of the most important Roman bridges in Spain. It had to be restored several times in between the XII and the XIV centuries.

 

  • Parque do Miño. This park located in Lugo offers an idyllic landscape full of charm.
