Pamplona is one of the most traditional and antique cities of Spain. It was founded by the Roman general Pompey around 75 B.C and, after a long time, it was stablished as the capital city of the Community of Navarra. Romans, Germans, Visigoths and also Muslims were settled in this city during ancient times before it got finally united to the Spanish Crown in 1512.

It is not something new that Spain is well known because of its tapas. Everyone also knows that Spain has good liquors, especially wines. In total, Spain sums up 69 different Designation of Origin varieties of wines. In order to let you know more about both, tapas and wines, we will suggest 5 different combinations of both at our Paradores. The chosen ones are: Parador de Tordesillas, Parador de Nerja, Parador de Villafranca del Bierzo, Parador de Lorca and Parador de Cangas de Onís.

If you are a nature lover, this is your place. Cazorla is a town in the province of Jaén, Andalusia. At 26 km of the village of Cazorla, there is the Parador de Cazorla, a charming hotel in between the Natural Park of Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas, one of the most famous natural spots of the south of Spain and the largest protected natural area in the country, as it counts with more than 210.000 hectares. It was named Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO.

Last March 2015, the 3^rd Pompidou Centre was opened in the beautiful city of Málaga; the main Pompidou Centre is based in Paris and there is another one in Metz. The main idea of this Pompidou Centre is to spread Modern Art in all its version.
